Abstract: The kinetic behaviour of tetraiodofluorescein(TIF), rose bengel(RB) and 3,5-diiodo-L-tyrosine(3,5-DIT) to catalyze Sandell-Kolthoff reaction was studied. The results showed that the order of catalytic abilities of organic iodine-containing compounds mentioned above is 3,5-DIT>RB≈TIF.A new method for detecting the compounds by kinetic-oscillopolarography was described.16~8μg/mLof 3,5-DIT,5~50 μg/mLof RBand 1~50μg/mL of TIF can be determined by using initial velocity method at room temperature.
