The Calculation of Thermodynamic Equilibrium Constant in CuSO4-aminate P507-n-C6H14 System

Abstract: The thermodynamic equilibrium model of acidic phosphoric extractant and metal system was studied with thermodynamic method. The activity coefficients of the components such as water, C6H14, extractant in organic phase can be calculated according to the thermodynamic relation, and γCu2+ can be estimated according to Pitzer's equation. The experimental data can be used to correlate and solved on computer. The results showed that the thermodynamic equilibrium constant Kwas in the range of 1.62×10~7 ~5.26×10-7 and the activity coefficients of the components were achieved.
