Abstract: The formation of reversed micelle in extractants-organic phase was studied by titration calorimetry. Critical micellar concentration (CMC), aggregation number(n), formation constant (K) and thermodynamic function of the micellar formation △G, △H, △S were determined for system: D2EHPA(Na)-sec-octyl alcohol-kerosine and trialkylmethyl ammonium chloride-sec-octyl alcohol-kerosine. According to the above mentioned results, the effect of formation of micelle on the extraction coefficient and mechanism is discussed.
