Abstract: WO2.90 , with a larger specific surface area of 30m2/g, was preparated by the method of "Inner Reduction". When it was applied to the oxidation of cyclo-hexcnc, selectivity for benzene was more than 95%. This was a second order reaction with an approximate activation energy of 57kJ/mol. Acrolein was formed at 300℃ in the catalytic oxidation of propylene, and the yield was 3.7% at 450℃. It was found that there was only one adsorpted state of propylene on the surface of WO2.90 and desorption take place at a maximum temperature of about 360Kby TPDmethod. This desorption was a first order reaction with an approximate activation energy of 41 kJ/mol.
