Abstract A novel molecular imprinted(MIP) film/Au nanoparticles(AuNP) modified glassy carbon electrode(GCE), L-Cys/AuNP/GCE(MIP), was prepared by electrochemical deposition of gold nanoparticles and electrochemical assembly of L-Cys at the surface of GCE using bromophos ethyl as template molecular. The results indicate that L-Cys/AuNP/GCE(MIP) can selectively recognize bromophos ethyl and be applied for the electrochemical determination of bromophos ethyl in the spiked sample. Under the optimized conditions, the electrochemical response is directly proportional to the bromophos ethyl concentration in the range from 2.5 to 17.5 μmol/L, with a detection limit(S/N=3) of 0.83 μmol/L. The experiment results also show that the L-Cys/AuNP/GCE(MIP) has good stability and reproducibility.
